Our History
At the beginning of 2018, our founder, Kavita Prasad, a university student at the time, became aware of many students who were on financial aid scholarships, but who still could not afford basic educational tools like laptops, textbooks, and even clothing. Inspired by these students' stories, she decided to create Milaana to bridge the gap between donors and the low-income students and to help these students obtain the quality education they deserve.
